Our last morning of the guided tour and on Inis Mor we had enough time for a quick hike to the church of St. Benan, (Teampall Bheanain). The church is said to be the smallest in the world at about 11x7 feet. These stone markers are used to mark depth for boats returning to the harbor.

Some stone work in the church. A lot of work was done to make the stones smooth, and a mortar made from local island materials was used.

We now bid farewell to Claudia, caught the ferry back to the mainland and checked in to our bed and breakfast, Dalys House. The tour was over and we said our goodbyes to Brian and Natash in Doolin. The weather was clear so we headed up to the Cliffs of Moher, this is the restored Doonagore Castle overlooking the town of Doolin on the road up to the cliffs. An American couple restored and now lives in the tower house.

That night we walked to O Conners Pub for another music session, more pints of Murphys, and the end of day 5.
